"Recently I spent time in the serene and magnificent Algonquin Park...I had the opportunity to try out a new product called the BugBam Grid. I could only hope that it was going to live up to its word and help defend our tent. If there was ever a time that the grid was going to be put up to a huge challenge then this was definitely going to be it.

I decided to actually use the product in our tent. I really don’t like the deet related sprays and the citronella candles but this one claimed to be safe and still work.

One of my pet peeves is definitely buzzing mosquitoes in my ear. There is absolutely nothing worse then listening to them flying around your head as your try and close your eyes and go to sleep.

Twenty minutes before we went into the tent I hung it inside and it went to work. As difficult as it was getting into the tent without a thousand mosquitoes getting in it was quickly apparent that the mosquitoes were not actually coming any where near us and we were not being attacked even by the ones that managed to squeeze by us and get in.

A couple weeks after Algonquin I decided to try the Bugbam band at the cottage and I also had success. I would however recommend if you are going to be in a highly infested mosquito area to wear a couple of the bands.

These bands and grids are DEET Free and offer a great alternative to worrying about using unsafe chemically enhanced products.."

We love Bug Bam. The first time I used it my neighbors were standing outside talking when I came home, one guy was really having problems with the mosquitoes. So, I ran back to my house to get one of the grids. As soon as we opened the package and hung the grid up the mosquitoes were gone and didn't come back. This was the first time they had seen or heard about Bug Bam, they loved the scent, that it's environmentally friendly and they're not putting chemicals on their loved ones or in the air.

The Trek ended up being for 11 days in the thick jungle of Papua New Guinea and was an amazing experience. Not only did Bug Bam work, it alleviated some of our main concerns regarding the insect issue, the prevalence of Malaria and the evening inundation of insects into our one-man tents, BUT we were the envy of all the other trekkers and indeed our trek leaders who had fought under the trying circumstances of Vietnam.
The Olympics were tough but this ranked up there with them.

This past weekend we had our annual Memorial Day BBQ. The usual uninvited bugs came out in force. We decide to try out the Bug Bam products we recently received. Within moments the annoying pests were gone. The product did it’s job and what my guests and I also appreciated was how easy to use this all natural product is. While it certainly won’t get the endorsement of the bugs that attended the BBQ, it certainly gets mine and my invited guests.

I used Bug Bam at the beach on Memorial day and everyone around me was getting bit, but not me because I had Bug Bam! on my wrist! It was nice to be the one not getting bit!

Bug Bam has been a very big help to me, especially since I am in boarding school. Bug Bam is the only reason why I don't have mosquito bites all over my body anymore. Although the hostel is fumigated once a month and thrice a term, we the students normally experience serious mosquito bites.

This term my mum gave me Bug Bam to take along with me to school. Because it looked like a wristband which is not allowed to be worn in the school, I couldn't wear it. I decided to put it in my nightgown pocket.

To my greatest surprise, I did not experience a single mosquito bite. I feel this must be a wonder.

God bless you so much for Bug Bam. I believe with Bug Bam there will be little or no trace of mosquitoes causing diseases like malaria.

Thank you so much for creating a product that protects my daughter WITHOUT putting her in danger at the same time. Your product really does work! It is a little “lemony” at first, but it is the best smelling citronella that I have ever used, also the most effective.

I have finally found a minute to sit down and say a huge big thank you for my Bug Bams. They worked brilliantly…When feeling particularly vulnerable I would wear the child band on my wrist and the adult on my ankle (very smart I thought) and it was the best way to remain bite free, which I did when I thought of doing it that way. I think I counted 5 bites for the total trip which was an amazing effort with my track record. I was so confident I didn’t even bother with the malaria tablets. Once again, MANY MANY thanks!!!! I took a surf trip down to Ecuador with my high school surf team and brought along some Bug Bam wristbands and grids. The wristband worked great in keeping me bite free. Each band lasted about 4-5 days. I wore it during the day and set it by my bed during the night. It was great waking up and seeing my skeptical friends covered in bites while I was untouched. I didn’t even use the mosquito nets over the bed while sleeping. After the first day, friends were asking if they could have one. Another useful product is the Camp Grid. I would strongly recommend stocking up on a few wristbands and Grids if your destination has chances of mosquitoes.

We live in a marshy, water front area in coastal Virginia prone to voracious mosquitoes. I purchased Bug Bams for guests scheduled to attend an outdoor celebration of my daughter’s college graduation. We didn’t want our guests eaten alive! When the day of the party arrived, we were blessed with a stiff warm breeze that kept all of the bugs away and there was no need for the Bug Bams.
Not to worry, I was certain that we would need them before the end of the bug season and sure enough I was right. Last night we had family and friends over for a Memorial Day cookout. Several of the females had worn perfume and hair spray and I was afraid that the Bug Bams might not prove effective, but I was wrong. As we sat around the table on the lawn at sunset, we could see mosquitoes hovering all around us, but no one was bitten. The ladies with perfume and hair spray had a larger mass of bugs flying closer to them, but also remained unbitten.
We are all very impressed and plan to use Bug Bams at all of our outdoor functions. Thank you for your product, as well as your wonderful customer service in getting my shipment to me in plenty of time for our planned celebration. I am recommending Bug Bams to all my neighbors and friends.

My son and I are ALWAYS outside and the insects are terrible this year. We decided to try out the Bug Bam bracelets are they work wonders! My son is two years old and it’s hard to find insect repelling products for small children. He hates lotions and sprays so the bracelet is great. I wanted to thank you for allowing us to use Bug Bam at the 19th Annual National Veterans Golden Age Games in Norman, Oklahoma in May of 2005.
I remember one morning during the games when a call came out over the radio communication system we were using. The voice on the radio said “We are getting swarmed by mosquitoes at the horseshoe field; please get some Bug Bam bracelets down here quick.” As you know in Oklahoma we have mosquitoes the size of small sparrows. They were coming out of the wet grass that morning in a fog and causing discomfort to the participants, volunteers, and staff working the event. One of the volunteers delivered some bracelets to the field. I never heard another complaint after the Bug Bam arrived.

I saw many veterans wearing the Bug Bams on their wrists. When I asked several vets what the wristbands were for, they told me they were bug free! Now you know my sense of humor is a little strange at times so I asked what kinds of bugs they had been carrying. One of the fellows actually laughed and then said more seriously that he was amazed he didn’t have to wear any bug repellent and previously would have thought we were the nutty ones for even suggesting a plastic band could keep them bug free. But, it worked!
