Mosquito Repellent?

The Trek ended up being for 11 days in the thick jungle of Papua New Guinea and was an amazing experience. Not only did Bug Bam work, it alleviated some of our main concerns regarding the insect issue, and the evening inundation of insects into our one-man tents, BUT we were the envy of all the other trekkers and indeed our trek leaders who had fought under the trying circumstances of Vietnam. The Olympics were tough but this ranked up there with them.

The first time I used BugBam my neighbors were standing outside talking when I came home, one guy was really having problems with the mosquitoes. As soon as we opened the package and hung the grid up the mosquitoes were gone and didn't come back. This was the first time they had seen or heard about Bug Bam, they loved the scent, that it's environmentally friendly and they're not putting chemicals on their loved ones or in the air.

This past weekend we had our annual Memorial Day BBQ. The usual uninvited bugs came out in force. We decide to try out the Bug Bam products we recently received. I have finally found a minute to sit down and say a huge big thank you for my Bug Bams. They worked brilliantly…When feeling particularly vulnerable I would wear the child band on my wrist and the adult on my ankle (very smart I thought) and it was the best way to remain bite free, which I did when I thought of doing it that way. I took a surf trip to Ecuador with my high school surf team and brought along BugBam wristbands and grids. The wristband worked great in keeping me bite-free. Each band lasted about 4-5 days. Thank you for allowing us to use BugBam at the Veterans Golden Age Games in Norman, Oklahoma. We had mosquitoes the size of small sparrows coming out of the wet grass and causing discomfort to participants, volunteers, and staff.
I remember a call that came out over the radio system. The voice said “We are getting swarmed by mosquitoes! Please get some BugBam bracelets down here quick!” One of the volunteers delivered some bracelets. I never heard another complaint after the BugBam arrived.

We used this product last summer on a trip to Maine. Our daughter was only a couple of months old, so we didn't want to use bug spray on ourself. The wrist bands were wonderful at keeping mosquitoes and other bugs away.

Bug Bam is a superior product and is a blessing to have here in the low lying Mississippi River flood plain. It makes dealing with heat and humidity easier when those buggers are kept at bay.

Thank you for making these! We started using your product with our son who is 17 months a few weeks ago and I can not believe it, but he has been bite-free since.
